Tuesday Double...

Folkestone 14:50 - Najca De Thaix
2m, class 4 Novices' Handicap Chase - Heavy.

Emma Lavelle's versatile sort is having a competitive season, after picking up decent prizes over timber and the larger obstacles. The gelding returns to fences today to take advantage of what could be a lenient mark. 10lbs better off over than if he was over hurdles means he has very strong claims in weak looking race. The ground will be no problem having won in the mud at Plumpton and the drop back to 2 miles will suit.

Folkestone 15:20 - Forest Miller

3m 1f, class 4 Handicap Chase - Heavy.

Forest Miller, will have to improve his course form to take today's handicap chase however connections seem to have worked out the key to his form and have taken their time with him since his fall at Uttoxeter. 233 days off the track shouldn't put you off as Richard Phillips charges are always fit and with the horse fresh, this is the time to catch him. A usually sound jumper will relish the ground and get every yard of the trip.
