Wednesday Double...

Great Leighs 14:30 - Lord of the Reins
5f, Class 4 Handicap - Standard

Well we are off to Great Leighs for the first time so fingers crossed The Analyst can come up with the goods! And there is no better place to start than the first race where James Given's gelding sets the standard. Second last time out at Goodwood in a class 3, Lord of the Reins produced a fine run against some well established individuals and before that proved he handles todays track and conditions by winning at Great Leighs itself. Some of the challengers have a chance on old form, but look out of sorts at the moment so stick with the selection to get us off to a flyer! (Early Price 2/1)

3RD 7/2F

Out paced early on, Lord of the Reins was doing his best work late on yet could never get to pillar to post winner Almaty Express, under Daryl Holland who now has the privilege of being the first winner at Great Leighs at a public meeting.

Beverley 20:35 - Just Lille
1m 1f, Class 4 Handicap - Good to Firm, Good in Places

Ran up a four timer this time last year including a C&D win so no problems concerning the conditions of the race. She does have to race of a 4lb higher mark than her last win but that was in a better grade and with the slight drop back in trip and a stiffer course expect a bold showing. (Early Price 7/2)
WON 11/4F

Comfortable win for our selection seeing off the progressive Speedy Sam by 1 1/4l's. Royston French, put Just Lille in the perfect position through out the race and pulled her out to drive her home in the final furlong.
