Tuesday Double...

Welcome back after another typically wet, English bank holiday. Here's looking forward to some better weather and some better results to end May on a high!

Chepstow 14:20 - Penny's Gift
5f, Class 5 Maiden Stakes - Soft

The rain in Wales has got into the ground and that ultimately means that the track will ride testing at Chepstow today. Kingswinford, sets the standard here having been 2ND in a Class 2 last time out, however that was only 3 days ago, and there seems to be a hint of desperation in running him again so soon in ground that isn't sure to suit. Penny's Gift, represents the ever green Richard Hannon yard and staying on in a Class 3 over this trip last time is taken to come on massively for that experience and can land the odds with the talented Dane O'Neill on board. (Early Price 5/2)
WON 11/4

Decent ride from Dane O'Neill as he had to keep the green running Penny's Gift upto her work, however this likeable filly is certainly talented and is on her way to Royal Ascot for a crack at the Queen Mother.

Leicester 15:30 - Is It Me
1m 3f, Class 5 Handicap - Good

2ND over course and distance in Aug 07, off a mark of 72, Is It Me, looks very much the one to be on today with many of his rivals having question marks over their form and whether or not they will stay this demanding trip. An interesting jockey booking in Ted Durcan is another positive and the Analyst gives this one the confident nod, at a really healthy price. (Early Price 7/2)
UP 3/1

Positively ridden by Ted Durcan, Is It Me led for the majority of the way before folding tamely and finishing out the back in a poor looking race at Leicester.
