Thursday E/W Double...

Ayr 17:20 - Richardthesecond - E/W
5f, Class 5 Handicap - Good to Firm

Seb Saunders looks to have been well placed again by his agent with what looks an interesting ride in the lucky last at Ayr. Getting the leg up for the third time in Richardthesecond's career he was a decent 2ND on him last time out at Kempton and looks well treated for a return to the turf in conditions he should relish. Well drawn on the inside, I expect him to be popped out and ridden handy in a race that looks taylor made for him to break his maiden duck. (Early Price 6/1)
UP 9/2

Sandown 19:15 - Allegretto - E/W
Class 1, 2m Listed Stakes (Group 2) - Good to Soft, Soft in Places

Winner of this race last year, Michael Stoute will have Allegretto tuned up for his reappearance and looks the one that will take all the beating in tonight's Group 2. Happy to take on the favourite, Royal And Regal who was involved in a tough race at York just 13 days ago and although is progressing well, is said to bypass the Gold Cup this year as still being slightly weak behind. A C&D winner in very similar conditions Allegretto is given the confident nod, under the Champion Jock. (Early Price 9/2)
UP 3/1
