Tuesday Double...

Sedgefield 18:35 - Willie Pep
2m, Class 4 Novices' Chase - Good, Good to Soft in Places

A decent 2ND to Deep Purple at Ascot last time out, Willie Pep sets the standard and on his hurdles form looks the one to beat on his chasing bow. Charlie Egerton & Tony McCoy is combination to always keep on your side and the Chaddleworth based trainer, knows the time of day when it comes to his novice chasers. Interesting that he starts his gelding off here at Sedgefield, this looks to good to miss.

New Selection -

RIPON 15:30 - High Curragh
UP 4/1

Un-suited by the eventually heavy going, it wasn't so much of a surprise to see him out of the places on that type of ground but actually taking his chance in the line up in the 1st place. With what seemed like hundreds of non-runners all over Britain today, our summer weather is not really helping, is it!

Sedgefield 19:35 - Compromiznotension
2m 1f, Class 4 Novices' Hurdle - Good, Good to Firm in Places

Decent enough on the flat for trainer Ian Semple, Compromiznotension has been slightly frustrating over timber, however it looks as though his present trainer, Howard Johnson looks to have found an ideal opportunity to get his 5 year old off the mark. A repeat of his 2ND last time out at Wetherby will be good enough to take this under the rejuvenated Denis O'regan.
2ND 1/3F
