Monday Double...

Leicester 15:30 - Once Upon A Grace
7f, Class 2 Fillies Condition Stakes - Good, Good to Soft in places

Having had a pipe opener in a Group 3 at Lingfield last time out The Analyst feels that this filly has the class in the the field to win this race. Winning comfortably on debut and then running respectively in a 1000 Guineas trial last year, this filly clearly has some ability and looks to have Silca Chiave to beat who is coming off a 348 day break but does boast some very useful Group 1 form back in 2006. Brian Meehan has been in solid enough form over the last few weeks so lets hope we start the week off on a high.
NR

Naas 15:40 - Tax Free
5f, Class 1 (Listed) Stakes - Good to Firm

It seems as though this animal has been around for years but 6 isn't old and this race provides this bay gelding with a chance to notch up his 11th career win. A course and distance winner before I feel the selection will act best in the conditions, 5f and quick ground whereas his main rivals don't have as bigger pull in the weights or want softer ground and a bit further. Hopefully now is the time to catch Dandy Nicholls' runner. (Early Price 2/1)
WON 5/4f

* Please note that The Analyst replaced the earlier NR Once Upon A Grace with Balthazaar's Gift. (20:00 Windsor) This won at 10/3 and the double paid 12/1, this figure has been included in our £1 level stake return and win percentage for our own records. Apologies for not amending the write up
.
