Friday Double...

Newbury 14:50 - Kotsi
1m 2f, Class 1 Listed Race - Good to Firm

It's interesting that Jamie Spencer is at Newbury today rather than booked to ride at York, so the mission is to find his best chance of a winner and lump on. That looks to be in the shape of Kotsi in the Class 1, Listed race at 14:40. Impressive on debut last year, this classy filly followed up with a magnificent 2ND behind the Aiden O'Brien trained Spacious at Doncaster. Not disgraced when showing up for a long time at Ascot in a Class 1, in September, Kotsi is taken to improve this term and be hard to beat with today's step up in trip in her favour. (Early Price 7/4)
2ND 9/4

York 15:45 - Rash Judgement
5f, Class 3 Handicap - Good to Firm

Rash Judgement is an interesting type that should really have more black type against its name than it actually does. An excellent 2ND and 3rd behind Generous Thoughts & Corrybrough respectively gives our selection a massive chance in an easier looking handicap today. A horse that ideally would be suited by 5 and a 1/2 furlongs, looks to have been placed in the right race, with guaranteed early pace on, watch out for Ryan Moore bringing his charge home late and fast to steal the prize. (Early Price 9/4)

UP 7/4F
