Tuesday Double...
Sedgefield 14:20 - Theatre Belle
2m 4f, Class 4 Novices' Hurdle - Good to Soft
An impressive C&D winner last time out, Theatre Belle looks set to run another big race in ideal conditions. Having formed a brilliant relationship with his conditional jockey, our selection receives a massive 13lb's from the AP McCoy ridden Riguez Dancer. This is the Champs only ride of the day however with the trip an unkown quantity and this being the 3rd outing in the last 16 days (finished 2nd on the flat last time out) he is worth taking in at very skinny odds.
WON 4/1
A run away victory by The Analyst’s first selection meant we had good money in the bank, but an anxious wait until the evening meet at Fairyhouse to see if we could land the double. Noble Future won by a very easy 9l’s having traveled superbly and quickened nicely after the last. Once again The Analyst logged onto BET365 @ 10:30 and bagged the early bird 5/1. Remember if you take any early price with BET365 and the horse goes off at bigger SP, you get that price! So could we bag a double…?
Fairyhouse 18:40 - Lugato
2m 2f, Handicap Hurdle - Yielding
Ruby Walsh has a good looking book of rides tonight, but the pick is definately the german bread Lugato. 2nd last time out behind the Aiden McGuinness trained Almanyan was a superb effort and the form was certainly franked by the winner who beat 21 rivals next time out at the Punchestown Festival. With the step up to 2m 2f, sure to be in his favour I expect Ruby Walsh to ride yet another winner.
2ND 5/2
No, Not Quite was the answer... A typical race in Ireland where they go an absolute crawl and then quicken at the end. With two to jump it looked as though our selection was going to pick up the evential winner but he found more. Ruby tried to get an extra tune towards the end and Lugato did stay on but it was all too late.
