Thursday Double...

Folkestone 15:15 - Andronikos
6f, Class 4 Handicap - Good to Soft

Andronikos, represents the red hot Paul Cole and champion jockey in waiting Ryan Moore in todays 15:15 at Folkestone. The trainer has a current strike rate of 45% in the last 14 days and this Chestnut looks his best chance of adding to that statistic today. A drop in class and return to the turf, make this an ideal opportunity for our selection to strike.
4th

Unfotunately strike he didn't! Was never really on terms with the leaders held up at the back and made just steady headway over the last two furlongs or so. Chose the wrong Cole runner!

Towcester 16:50 - Realism
2m, Class 4 Novices' Hurdle - Good, Good to Soft in Places

The Mick Easterby trained Realism, looks to build on a solid victory last time out hopefully land today's double. A 17 length winning margin at Newcastle last time was as impressive as it sounds. A repeat of that performance when firmly beating the consistent Diamond Frontier will be good enough to take todays spoils.
4th

A disapointing show from the Easterby runner who at one point looked as though he might have a say in the matter. However didn't pick up with two to jump and faded badly into 4th.
