Wednesday Double...
Newmarket 15:10 - Infallible
1m, Class 1 Falmouth Stakes (Group 1) - Good
Back to his beloved Newmarket, Infallible can continue John Gosden's recent good form my bagging another Group 1 for the Manton based trainer. This is a high class field however with Darjina holding her ground, our selection gets in off a nice looking weight receiving 10lb from 7 exposed looking rivals. Horses for courses at HQ so Infallible gets our vote to set the daily double on fire! (Early Price 9/2)
2ND 7/2
Catterick 17:15 - Woody Waller
1m 5f, Class 5 Maiden Stakes - Good to Soft
Woody Waller was a decent staying on 2ND at Hamilton last time over an inadequate trip. Bread to stay, Howard Johnson's chestnut gelding is with the right stable to come on for that run and gain victories over extended trips and today looks the ideal opportunity. Henry Cecil has interesting entry in the shape of Marie Louise who first time out was an eye catching 5TH behind Derby 2ND Tartan Bearer however his reappearance at Lingfield was disappointing and it is not definite that these extreme distances really suit. (Early Price 7/4)
WON 13/8

Saturday Double...
Newbury 15:25 - Castlecrossings E/W
2m 5f, Class 1 Mares Novices' Handicap Hurdle - Soft
The Jonjo O'Neill trained Castlecrossings is a tough, improving mare that will relish todays testing conditions. Longer trip and softer conditions look ideal, and she will take all the beating today under the talanted Champion Jock, whose hungry for more success.
2ND 4/1
An almost perfic ride by the champ, nearly landed the Analyst with a timely boost, however the the Impressive Jaunty Flight produced a gutsy performance under top weight. The front two pulled 12l's clear of the 3rd and if our selection didn't hang right under pressure we may have got even closer to Oliver Sherwoods tough Mare.
Nad Al Sheba 15:55 - Floral Pegasus E/W
1m 1f, Class 1 Dubai Duty Free (Group 1)
The Hong Kong trained Floral Pegasus, has been mega consistent this season and is sure to run his race. Close up to Darjina in December, Cruz's gelding looks a great E/W bet and is well drawn and likely to race right up with the pace.
UP 14/1
Having raced keenly throughout our selection actually did well to rally again and finish a close up 7th under the harding working Gerard Mosse. The French trained filly Darjina, (mentioned above) at least hel up the previous form by finishing a strong 2nd @ 5/1.
