Thursday E/W Double...

Warwick 15:50 - Kay Es Jay E/W
7f, Class 1 Fillies' Listed Stakes - Good to Firm

Unlucky not to have more 1's in the form column Kay Es Jay is a tough consistent filly that looks well in here today after a string of creditable efforts. Down to a mark of 92 and with today's conditions in her favour she looks to good value to ignore in a open looking contest. With the early 10/1 being snapped up the Analyst managed to get on at 9's although Barry Hills charge is as low as 15/2 with some firms already. (Early Price 9/1)
UP 9/1

Newcastle 16:30 - Pentatonic E/W
1m 2f, Class 1 Fillies' Listed Stakes - Good

Luca Cumani's yard could just be coming into something of a purple patch so when the eccentric Italian, now based in Newmarket sends an improving filly all the way up to Newcastle, you have to sit up and take notice. The last three charges to be sent out from the yard have finished 2ND, 1st & 1st and he has a 24% strike rate in the last 14 days. Pentatonic can improve those statistics by landing a blow at a massive price this afternoon. Proven in decent company, she is sure to be suited by the drop in trip and the ease in conditions, and I expect Joe Fanning to make full use of her today. (Early Price 9/1)
4TH 12/1
