Monday Double...
Pontefract 15:15 - Indian Art
6f, Class 3 Conditions Stakes, Good, Good to Firm in places
It's not hard to see why this colt by Choisir holds a favourites chance this afternoon. A running on 2nd behind Smokey Storm at Epsom in a listed race last time out is by far the best form on offer to date, and if able to squeeze out a bit more improvement today then should be good enough to take the spoils. (Early Price 5/6F)
UP 5/6F
Windsor 19:40 - Lindelaan
1m, Class 4 Handicap, Good to Firm, Good in places
Having just failed to nab the favourite last time out at Nottingham, The Analyst feels that this contest can go the way of the Sir Michael Stoute runner. This consistent sort seems to do nothing but improve for each run and the trip of 8f should be fine if not a wee bit short if last times perfomance is anything to go by - running on very well at the finish. The main contenders to the selection have form linked in with each other which appears a bit muddling to me so i'll stay clear and let Ryan Moore steer us home. (Early Price 9/4)
WON 5/6F
That 9/4 looks massive now with a non-runner seriously affecting the market. Impressive 4l victory under a powerful Ryan Moore ride.
