Wednesday Double...

Ascot 14:45 - Rosaleen
1m, Class 3 Fillies Stakes - Good

Brian Meehan saddles his tough filly Rosaleen, who has been crying out for today's step up in trip. Un-lucky last time out when meeting traffic problems in the Nell Gwyn Stakes, everything looks in her favour to run a massive race today. The Michael Jarvis trained, Makaaseb may give the selection most to do, but without the benefit of a run and with the recent wet weather softening the firm ground she is worth taking on, first time out.
WON 15/8f

Grabbing the early 11/4 The Analyst was glad to see our selection stay on best of all to score by a cosy 3/4l margin. A typically stylish Dettori ride meant Rosaleen won going away from a strung out field in an impressive performance.

Worcester 16:50 - Circus of Dreams
2m, Class 6 Maiden NH Flat Race - Good to Soft

Oliver Sherwood is a trainer to follow at present and he sends out the improving Circus of Dreams in Div 1 of the NH Flat Race. This looks a weak contest that wont take much winning. Formerly a decent 2ND behind the talented Kingston Lane, a repeat of that performance will be good enough to take the spoils today.
3RD 2/1

After travelling well for the most part, the conditions and a well handicapped Nigel Twiston-Davies runner proved just to strong for our selection as he tired up and finished a well held third. Confirming that the last race on the card was abandoned tells you all you need to know about the conditions so keep an eye out for this one, on better ground! British Summer time anyone?
