Saturday Double...

Kempton 14:45 - Jazz Jam
1m, Class 1 Fillies Listed Race - Standard

Looks a very interesting runner for the Paul Cole yard who are going great guns at present. Just touched off in a similar race back in November at Newmarket behind Classic Legend who is herself a potential smart filly, the selection has proven form over the distance which a lot of the field have yet to show.
WON 5/1

Cool as a cucumber, the ever youthful Richard Quinn, produced a great ride to land the first leg of Saturdays double. Chasing the leaders three out, Jazz Jam managed to make the most of an opening and surged clear to win by a fairly cosy 1/2l.

Doncaster 15:35 - Medicine Path
1m, Class 1 Listed Race - Soft

Jockey Jamie Spencer has been talking very bullishly about this colt in recent times and even goes as far to say that it won't be long before he is winning group races! A look back at the form shows a 3 1/4l 3rd to Authorized, the derby winner back in 2007. With a step up in class for fellow stable mate Don't Panic who did look impressive in the Spring Mile I don't see a lot else in the field with as much scope as The Selection.
WON 9/2

A classy performance from a classy colt. Given a typically patient Jamie Spencer ride, Medicine Path ran on to win by a length. Showing he can now handle all types of ground, this is a colt to keep an eye and back Jamie's bullish judgement that he might well be good enough to take group races this year.

DOUBLE WON 33/1
