Monday Double...
Yarmouth 15:30 - Royal Rock
6f, Class 2 Handicap - Good to Firm
A good record fresh and said to have strengthened nicely over the winter, Royal Rock is taken to give Charlie Wall his first winner of the season. Progressive last season this gelding was last seen finishing a close up 6Th in a hot Newmarket race. Previous impressive victories at Windsor and Kempton shows George Baker's mount (2 from 2 on horse) to be a versatile type that will improve again this year. The main danger is the Jamie Spencer ridden Cape, whom the jockey has a 100% strike rate on. However he has a little bit to find on the clock with our selection and may be un-suited by the faster ground.
WON 4/1
An impressive performance from the talented Royal Rock, as he ran on to win by a cosy 1/2l. His task was made easier by the exclusion of Cape from the field, but with a 1m 11.47s 6f dash, P Howlings mare would have struggled to live with this gelding to follow.
Windsor 18:10 - Dubai Petal
1m 3f, Class 5 3yo Handicap - Good to Firm
Dubai Petal looks to have an outstanding chance of getting off the mark this season at just the third time of asking. Having improved with each outing the Ryan Moore ridden filly looks to have everything in her favour and will no doubt be suited by the step up in trip, firmer ground and most definitely the drop in class.
WON 5/4F
Thanks to the early prices on BET365, The Analyst grabbed a healthy 13/8 about the Ryan Moore ridden Dubai Petal. Full credit must go the jockey, as his mare dropped anchor early on and had to come from last to first under a powerful ride. Getting every yard of the trip, this quirky looking mare got her head in-front on the line to win by a neck!!
Back to Back doubles for the first time for the Analyst... Look at the £1 level stake return now!!
DOUBLE WON 13/1
