Friday Double...

Newbury 13:40 – Nevada Royale
3m, Class 4 Novices’ Hurdle – Good to Soft, Good in Places

Paul Nicholls + Novices + Newbury = WINNER. A trends track were the Ditchet trainer is def. one to follow. The Analyst was really taken by Nevada Royale’s performance at Exeter last time, and although this HUGE horse is a definitely a chaser In the making, he has more than enough ability to win races like this along the way.
PU 4/6F

A strange race ran at a breakneck pace early doors meant very little got into the contest. Nevada Royale emptied quicker than barrell of Guiness at The Cheltenham Festival and stopped to a walk.

Newbury 14:10 – Dragon Eye
2m 5f, Class 3 Maiden Hurdle – Good to Soft, Good in Places

Could this be the next quality staying hurdler to come out of the in-form Alan King yard? Consistent enough in his bumpers, The wonderfully named Dragon Eye showed more than enough ability, when finishing a close 2nd to the potentially high class Galient at Folkestone last time. With a galloping, staying track like Newbury sure to suit, the selection is taken to get the better of the Philip Hobbs trained Ballydub(WON 8/1)
UR 3/1

Another horse fell in front of ours, ours freaked out and shipped an un-happy Christian Williams out the side door!! Whatever, Bothered, Always the Same... Oh and the winner... BUGGER!!
