Saturday Double...

Ascot 13:15 - Air Force One
3m, Class 1 Novices' Chase - Good

Chalie Mann's exciting chaser looks the one to be on today with conditions to suit. Decent Ground and 3m at Ascot look ideal and our selection is taken to out-stay the previously lucky Joe Lively.
2nd 15/8f

Really tough performance from Air Force One, whom barring two sluggish jumps could well have gone to Cheltenham with another win under his belt. A mistake at the 2nd last put pay to his chances but he still ran on strongly to only go down by 1 3/4l to Jonjo's Albertas Run. Despite this defeat, Charlie Manns exciting stayer will still carry my money in the Royal & Sun Alliance come the festival.

Ascot 16:45 - Gold Award
2m, Class NH Flat Race - Good

Nicky Henderson & Felix De Giles is a combination to follow at present, with the pair teaming up for double at Fakenham yesterday. The young jockey, full of confidence takes off a handy 7 to compensate for the penalty of winning last time out. With Nicholls bumper horses nearly always needing the run, we will take on ConflictofInterest first time out and back The Queens runner to complete the double.
WON 2/1

Easy to back before the off, The Queens Gold Award, put in a really impressive performance under a penalty to defy the well surpported ConflictofInterest. Under a confident Felix De Giles, who never raised his whip the this exciting novices ran on to win by a cosy 2l.
