Good Luck & Happy Punting...The Analyst
Newbury 14:05 - Ballydub3m, Class 2 Handicap Hurdle - Good to Soft, Soft in PlacesA repeat of his gallant 2ND behind the progressive Punchestowns at Cheltenham last time will be good enough to land today's spoils in conditions that are sure to suit. Left on the same competitive mark Hobbs and Johnson can combine for another Newbury winner. (Early Price 6/4)WONNewbury 15:45 - Captain Americo2m, Class 3 Maiden Hurdle - Good to Soft. Soft in PlacesNot seen since finishing a decent 3rd behind I'msingingtheblues over a year ago, Andrew Turnell's yard couldn't be in better form and market confidence behind this talented 6 year old would be a good pointer to a very strong comeback run. Thrown back into a class 3 for his seasonal reappearance this gelding has the potential to be high class. (Early Price 7/1) UP

Warwick 13:20 - Royal Kicks
2m 4f, Class 4 Handicap Chase - Soft, Good to Soft in Places
We go for Suzy Smith's 7 year old here who does does have a penalty to carry for his victory last week at Kempton, but the manner in which he won that race suggests to The Analyst that he can go in again today. Having shown promise at Plumpton the time before when he fell whilst still going well, there was no such mistake at the Sunbury track where he took command of the field and jumped well. Lets hope he does so again today! (Early Price 5/2)
2ND
Hexham 14:10 - Twelve Paces
3m, Class 3 Handicap Hurdle - Heavy
Another last time out winner who won impressively at Kelso on soft going and who has proven form at longer distances. Again he has to contend with quite a large penalty but The Analyst was quite taken by his recent victory and still relatively lowly weighted can provide the talented conditional Ryan Mania with another winner. (Early Price 15/8)
2ND
Leicester 12:50 - Parlesotho2m 4f, Class 4 Novices' Handicap Hurdle - GoodTwo decent seconds in his last two outings has promoted Parlesotho to the head of the handicap in today's' opening novices' handicap hurdle at Leicester. However with the more than capable Gerard Tumelty taking off handy 3lb's, Alan Kings tough mare should easily get off the mark today and land the 1st leg of the double. (Early Price 3/1) WON 9/2Leicester 14:20 - Kalahari King2m, Novices' Chase - GoodThere is no doubt that Kalahari King will be suited by a step up in trip in time however with today's ground ideal and the midlands track having a stiff up-hill finish he will have the class to beat Crocodiles Rock and provide trainer Ferdy Murphy with what will be just his 2nd winner in the last 30 days. (Early Price 11/10)WON 11/8f

Fontwell 13:10 - Earth Dream2m 4f, Class 4 Novices' Hurdle - Good
You could argue that Earth Dream is a winner without a penalty judged on his first start over obstacles at Kempton almost 3 weeks ago. Unseating Ruby at the last and with Alan King's horse idling in front it may have been six of one, half a dozen of the other. Apart from the blip at the last it was an encouraging start and with a bit more cover in the field today (ran green last time) we should see the young up and coming apprentice, Harry Skelton come up with the goods today. (Early Price 13/8)
4THFontwell 13:40 - Owlesbury Dream
2m 4f, Class 4 Mares' Beginners' Chase - Good
Stable had a couple of winners recently and they won this race last year. The signs are that this bay filly may be quite useful and she has reportedly jumped beautifully in her schooling, some of which AP has done. Fingers crossed for a quick fire double! (Early Price 7/4)
4TH
Chepstow 13:30 - Hivikos2m, Class 5 Maiden Hurdle - Good to Soft, Soft in PlacesThe selection has been highlighted by his trainer as his stable 'dark horse' to follow! Having not been right last season Nicholls has given him time and a breathing operation over the summer and this exciting prospect can start to repay the faith connections clearly have in him. (Early Price Evensf) 3RDChepstow 14:40 - Sullumo3m, Class 3 Handicap Hurdle - Good to Soft, Soft in PlacesThe trainer couldn't have got off to a better start this season, banging in the winners left right and centre! Having shown decent form in novice company last season this bay gelding looks to be progressing nicely. The form looks solid enough with Super Nick whom he beat 6 lengths two runs back coming out and winning recently. The only slight concern is the amount of weight the selection has to carry today but we'll ignore that and Sullomo can land the spoils.(Early Price 10/3)

(Doube Early Price 2/1)DOUBE WON 2/1
Warwick 13:10 - Helium2m, Class 4 Novices' Hurdle - Good to SoftTo hear Nick Gifford speak about the chances of his novice in the 1st at Warwick you would think he was Helium himself. Buzzing by the prospect of seeing his exciting french 3 year old turn his excellent jumping at home into a winning a debut over hurdles today we side with the promising young trainers charge and take on Art Trend who may not been seen in his best light until the spring. (Early Price 3/1)WON 5/2Warwick 15:10 - Officier De Reserve3m 1f, Class 4 Novices' Hurdle - Good to SoftPotentially a high class staying chaser, like so many of Paul Nicholls' charges this French bred 6 year old has undergone a wind operation in the close season and kicks off his 2008/2009 season over hurdles this afternoon. Thrown in on the best of his chase form today's novice hurdle at Warwick is the ideal confidence boosting start for Officer De Reserve and he will prove to strong for his modest rivals.
